As the high selling bull at the first Riverbend Ranch production sale in Idaho Falls, Idaho, “First Choice” earned his new name with his entrance as the first animal in the ring and by being our first pick of their offering.

Riverbend Ranch has purchased the top foundation females from major Angus breeders in the U. S.  First Choice’s dam, the $12,000 Sitz Everelda Entense 2945 was purchased from Sitz Angus Farm, Harrison, Montana.  She is a Sitz Traveler 8180 daughter whose dam sold for $210,000.  What a pedigree!!  Sired by DHD Traveler 6807 with 8180 on the bottom side, we have a genetic powerhouse.

First Choice’s great phenotype, excellent birth to yearling spread, large 43 centimeter scrotal, and great ultrasound performance (Rib 13.8 ratio 115, IMF 3.26 ratio 110, Rib Fat .34, Rump Fat .24) made him our “First Choice”.  Semen is available through the 101 Ranch at $15 per straw ($12 on 30 or more).  Certificates $30.
